Trent Austin
Another CCHS alumnus himself, Trent Austin was a substitute and interim teacher for the end of last year. Now a full-blown teacher, he instructs Environmental Science and Biology. A lover of all things sports, Austin is the head coach for the boy’s and assistant coach for the girl’s soccer teams, and he even played Division I soccer for Stetson University. Science was his field of interest all throughout college, where he decided that teaching was his future.
“I want my students to succeed. I don’t want them to just pass, I want them to really get something from my class. My ultimate goal for this school year is to help students to succeed in all aspects of school, not just science.”
