This school year at CCHS has been a long wagon ride full of adventures. As the school year is
rapidly coming to an end, CCHS students are thinking back to their favorite memories of the year.
Each student’s high school experience is uniquely personal and incredibly different. Whether it
was the HOCO game back in August or award season now in April the 2023-2024 school year
has been one to remember.

Here’s what students had to say about the 2023-2024 school year:
“Hoco week was really fun and I loved to dress up during the spirit days!” junior May Gozlan
said.

“I loved seeing everybody’s hard work pay off at the Black History Month Arts Expo,” senior
DeAndre Bailey said.

“My favorite memory from this year was when all the clubs painted with chalk around the
school,” sophomore Dante Dopico said. “I loved making drawings with my friends.”

“One of my favorite moments of the school year was when I attended the Latinos in Action and
Women of Tomorrow Clubs,” sophomore Julieta Higuita said. “Thanks to these clubs I was able
to meet people who have helped me grow as a person and have become very special to me.”
