Wednesday October 20th Cooper City High’s Swim and Dive team had their last home meet of the season.
Both girls and boys gave a prime example of their hard work and dedication placing first against Miramar and McArthur.
CCHS girls Logan Snider, Rachel Gross, Erika Fassler, and Brianna Schlunaker took first in the 200-meter medley and 400 meter freestyle relay.
CCHS boys Brandon Bogumill, Andrew Ellis, David Riusech, and Matt Bunting came in first in the 200-meter freestyle relay.
Highlights for the girl’s team:
Buzzy Drew placed first in the 200-meter medley.
Maria Pitt came in first in the 100-meter freestyle.
Brianne Burge placed first in the 500-meter freestyle.
Highlights for the boys team:
Matt Bunting placed first in the 200-meter freestyle.
Aiden Goldberg won first in the 100-meter butterfly.
Brandon Bogumill placed first in the 500-meter freestyle.
Overall Cooper City did great and they plan to swim their best again in Districts, which is the last meet of the season, on October 28th.
