Boys Lacrosse

Record: 6-7

Standout Player: “No doubt Kevin Luks,” Junior Matthew Rabinowitz said.  “He improves every year, and was able to carry the team this year with his scoring and experience.”

Memorable Moment: “Opening night when we started our season right with a win.”Rabinowitz said.

Accomplishments: Lost in district semifinals to Archbishop McCarthy but established a strong building block for years to come.

Girls Lacrosse

Record: 8-5

Standout Player: “Definitely Ally Pratt,” Sophomore Amanda Sarbey said.  “She was has led this team to success scoring over 40 goals throughout the season.”

Most Memorable Moment: “When we beat our rival and powerhouse Cyprus Bay on our home field.” Sarbey said.

Accomplishments: Didn’t qualify for districts but came together as a team in the end.

Boy’s Baseball

Record: 8-9

Standout Player: “Hunter Kelly stood out the most,” Sophomore Chris Diaz said.  “He was versatile and played wherever coach assigned him to play.”

Most Memorable Moment: “The last game against St. Thomas for sure,” Diaz said.  “Although we lost, it felt good to put up good stats against their ace pitcher.”

Accomplishments: Lost in district semifinals to St. Thomas.

Boy’s Tennis

Record: 5-4

Standout Player: “Andy Morales because of his perseverance, he’s just awesome,” Senior Nate Promkul said.

Most Memorable Moment: “The game against Pines Charter,” Promkul said.  “We came back from down 6 match points to win 9-7.”

Accomplishments: Team made it to districts.

Girls Water Polo

Record: 10-12

Standout Player: “Kelly Chmura,” Sophomore Morgan Huck said.  “She’s our universal player. She’ll play any position except goalie, and play it well.”

Most Memorable Moment: “Definitely came during districts,” Huck said.  “It wasn’t one game, but the whole district tournament leading up to us winning.”

Accomplishments: Won districts.

Girls Tennis

Record: 7-4

Standout Player: “Erika Martinez is the stand out player on the girls team,” Senior Amanda Yellen said.  “She always fought to the last point and stayed competitive through the whole match.”

Most Memorable Moment: “When we came in third place at districts behind St. Thomas and Cyprus Bay,” Yellen said.

Accomplishments: Third at districts.

Girls Softball

Record: 13-10

Standout Player: “Kelly Coultler because she was our best pitcher,” Senior Amanda Pelaez said.  “She came back just this season for us and always worked hard.”

Most Memorable Moment: “Winning the district championship against St. Thomas,” Paleaz said.

Accomplishments: Semi-finals in regionals, improving as a team all along the way.

Girls Flag Football

Record: 4-6

Standout Player: “For sure Mara Notkin,” Senior Kerriann Frances said.  “She could play every position well until she got her concussions.”

Most Memorable Moment: “Beating Cyprus Bay because they’re our big rivals,” Frances said.

Accomplishments: Did not qualify for districts, but became a team.

Boys Volleyball

Record: 6-6

Standout Player: “A combination of Simon Shuham and Eugene Cho,” Junior Dan Heintz said.  “They were our captains and led the team with their leadership and skill.”

Most Memorable Moment: “When we took Arch Bishop to 5 sets. They are one of the top teams in the state,” Heintz said.

Accomplishments: Didn’t qualify for districts because of a coin flip loss.

Boys Water Polo

Record: 18-6

Standout Player: “Either Connor Geiar or Sam Culver,” Senior Brandon Bogumill said.  “Connor was our top scorer and always reliable, while Sam was our goalie.  They both found ways to keep us in games.”

Most Memorable Moment: “Beating Olympia in the state quarterfinals to reach top 4 in the state,” Bogumill said.

Boys Track

Record: N/A

Standout Player: “Cody Statler in my opinion,” Sophomore Nico Lopez said.  “His determination, commitment, and hard work with the team really stood out to me.”

Most Memorable Moment: “When we were all able to work together at the regional meet and set a new school record for the 4x800m relay,” Lopez said.

Accomplishments: The 4×800 went to regionals.

Girls Track

Record: N/A

Standout Player: “Maya Francis is an amazing sprinter and works really hard” Senior Shelby Turner said.

Most Memorable Moment: “Having our team qualify and place in the BCAA championship,” Turner said.

Accomplishments: Having some runners place in the Broward County Athletic Association Championships
