The annual senior Variety Show will be held on January 30 – February 1, 2013, but already preparations for the show are under way.
Similar to a talent show, the Variety Show uses acts performed by students. The theme for this year has not yet been revealed. Seniors Shelby Turner, Anastasia Pavlinskya, James Hirschfeld, Noah Avidan, Mitchel Worley, Alec Silverman, Shannon Allen, Chris Gornes and Sidney Costello are the show`s hosts.
Meeting up once a week, the hosts come up with ideas for the show and its talented stars. As seen in previous years, the show this year is humor based. The hosts will be doing skits based on inside jokes going on at CCHS. In previous years, acts have ranged from singing and dancing, to putting on a short comedy act.
“I hope everyone can come out, see what the variety show is about, have a good time and enjoy all of our hard work,” Variety Show Host Shelby Turner said.
The 2013 senior hosts and the cast plan to make this year as memorable and as enjoyable as they can, and they would like to encourage everyone to attend.
