Return of the boy band: Jonas Brothers fans are “Burnin’ Up” over the trio’s reunion

In most cases, “S.O.S.” signifies a call for help. But in this case, it’s for all of those who suffer from a severe case of Jonas fever. For years now, the seemingly annual rumor of an official Jonas Brothers reunion has flashed across the media. In the past, the rumors remained as such, but this year, the gossip became a reality as the Jonas Brothers announced the reunion of their band.

After six years without the brother-based collaboration, the band decided to reunite, eliciting quite the response throughout the world. Age didn’t seem to limit the anticipation, as parents, teens and children were all enthusiastic about the return of the “Jo Bros.”

The Jonas Brothers reactivated their Instagram profile over a year ago, which sparked suspicion of their reunion, but all news regarding the Jonas Brothers was quickly shut down. A year later and an unexpected single was released and the informal news of a tour has evolved.

According to US Magazine, “Nick fueled the reunion rumors, liking multiple tweets about the potential of a Jonas Brothers comeback.”

Parents, teens and children were all enthusiastic about the return of the “Jo Bros.”

Some are curious as to why this sudden gathering is occurring. The three brothers separated and took on the important roles of husband, father and fiance. So the question “why now?” rolls through the fans’ minds.  But most are just elated by the fact that their favorite band has made a return.

Although the trio appeared to have vanished three years ago, the Jonas Brothers kept a quality relationship in terms of family, which allowed them to easily get together for a reunion.

These new beginnings are marked by the release of their new single “Sucker,” accompanied by their debut performance on the “Late Late Show with James Corden.”

James Corden even took this announcement to both Twitter and Instagram.

The Jonas Brothers have never failed to amaze their fans in the past but fans have begun to wonder if the new Jonas era will also mark a new sound. The group’s new song “Sucker” has an upbeat melody that is comparable to their previous work. Fans wonder if their future music will continue down the same road or change over time.

While the Jonas Brothers aren’t a new and upcoming band, this new era of music is sure to provide them with new beginnings, drawing in new fans and as well as the returning Jonas Brothers fanbase.
