While visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Germany, we visited numerous cathedrals and market places. Along the steps of the Cathedral of Cologne, many artists and performers put on short shows that captivated everyone. But one performer in particular caught my eye. Dressed in a striking orange uniform and egg white face paint, the mime stood tall and encouraged his audience to use their body as their voice. Challenging yet eye opening, many people noticed how they could express themselves physically. The street performers did more than entertain an audience, they changed the way their audience viewed themselves.
