During my recent trip to Kansas, my aunt, uncle, and I decided to venture to the Flint Hills. These rolling prairies are unique in that the remaining portion is almost completely untouched by humans, and it is home to an amalgamation of different species. While hiking across the vast hills, I was unexpectedly greeted by fantastic animals: bison, rabbits, and tremendous midwestern birds. This photograph was taken at a scenic viewpoint of the Flint Hills’s interminable horizon.
