On November 10th, the Cowboys girls Varsity soccer team came out with another outstanding performance, blowing their opponent out with a score of 8-0.
Passing and communication was key in their win against Deerfield Beach, and many players played exceptionally well. The game’s first goal was scored by sophomore Jennifer Keelin. The Cowboys then took advantage of their momentum and were able to score 7 more goals, with goals by Sarah Molina, Jemma Miller, Kimberly Slinkosky, Sammy Stofsky, Katie Slinkosky. Freshman Kimberly Slinkosky finished with a hat trick, scoring 3 goals. The Cowboys showed how well they are as team, playing as a cohesive unit on the field with great passes and goals that led to a quick and easy 8-0 win which led to a mercy rule against the Deerfield Beach girls.
“No matter who is playing as long as there is good communication, teamwork, and positivity we can succeed as a team.” said goalie Alexa Chaon.
This shows the trust and bond which these girls share, and if it continues to translate onto the field, than no one will be able to stop them.
