Fashion Forward: Warhol

With the 25th anniversary of his death, acclaimed artist and fashion icon Andy Warhol is experiencing a comeback in the fashion world. From runways to lip-gloss his name is popping up everywhere.

New York’s metropolitan museum of art is having a “Regarding Warhol : Sixty Artists, Fifty Years” exhibit which will run through the end of the year. Warhol was well known for his unique visual pop art style. From a collaboration with NARS to Christie’s auction of the artists foundation’s estate, it seems like the world just can’t get enough of the energetic and vibrant colors that go hand in hand with this innovative artist.

The Incases Warhol line is beyond brilliant ranging from chic laptop bags to ultra cool phone and gadget cases.

New York’s fashion week also had the pleasure of paying homage to the Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick with Marc Jacobs spring 2013 ready to wear collection. The models featured kohl lined eyes, big lashes, and side parted hairdos.

In addition there’s the unforgettable limited edition NARS collaboration going on. The luxe pallets and sets are gorgeous and certainly a collection that no fashion lover should miss out on.
