BY A.J. KURZMAN

The fantasy football regular season has concluded which means it’s time for the playoffs.  This is when you see if all the hard work you put into managing you team has really paid off.  I wish everyone good luck this coming weekend except to the people who are playing me.  I hope you lose.  Here are the best/worst from week 13.

Best

RB: Bryce Brown, Philadelphia Eagles: It’s a mess in Philadelphia right now.  The Philadelphia Phillies have won a game more recently than the Eagles.  They’re a team stricken with injuries and sorrow right now.  However, the one bright spot the last two weeks has been Brown.  In his last two games filling in for the injured McCoy, Brown has racked up 347 yards and 4 touchdowns.  The only downside to Brown’s game has been his ball security.  He’s coughed up 3 fumbles in those 2 games.  If he doesn’t stop this fumbling problem, he may not see many more games of those scores.

RB: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings: He has to be the favorite for comeback player of the year.  It was last December when Peterson had that nasty knee injury that doctors said could keep him out for over a year.  However, Peterson was ready come week one and has been tearing it up ever since.  Last week against Green Bay, he piled up 210 yards on 21 carries and a career long 82 yard touchdown run.

Worst

WR: Eric Decker, Denver Broncos: What has happened?  Decker, once a trusted target of Peyton Manning catching up to 8 passes in one game, now is lucky to get 3.  Manning is simply throwing the ball elsewhere at Decker’s expense.  He managed a measly 2 catches for 17 yards last week.

QB: Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints: Brees had a decent matchup on Thursday night against the Falcons.  Everyone expected him to continue his NFL record streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass.  However, he went out and threw career high 5 interceptions and no touchdowns.  That is not the Drew Brees we’ve come to know and love.

Best of luck in the postseason.
