April 24th is the start of the three-week annual cycle of modified testing weeks concluding in mid-May. The testing schedule is as follows:
All students should have received a personalized testing schedule in their first period on Friday, April 21st. On the schedule, the exams students are taking should be marked with a YES. If a student’s schedule is missing a mark for an exam they should be taking or is marked for an exam they are not taking, the student should contact guidance as soon as possible.
Super Tuesdays and Super Wednesdays last from 7:30am to 11:30am and are school days on a modified schedule. As such, attendance is expected. CCHS’s AP teachers will be holding reviews on those days for students not testing, and students are expected to attend review sessions for applicable AP exams beginning in two weeks.
“I strongly believe that everyone wants to be successful as possible in their AP classes,” Super Testing coordinator Mrs. Perkovic said. “The Super Testing system is built for that reason.”
The Super Tuesday and Super Wednesday review session schedule is as follows:
The sessions have shown to be helpful in evaluating individual weaknesses and strengths and reviewing information important to the end-of-year exam.
“Students don’t always have the time or luxury to review AP classes in depth,” junior Dashiel Heidt said. “These Super Tuesdays and Super Wednesdays give them an opportunity to prepare for those exams.”
Students not testing and not in AP courses will have an extended Personalization Period on those days.
