Advanced placement (AP) testing will take place starting Monday May 5, and continues through Friday, May 16.
Students currently enrolled in an AP class need to be aware of the dates they are testing because they will responsible for showing up prepared on the designated testing days for their exams.
Those who need to take exams that are scheduled for the same time on the same day must speak with their AP Coordinator about making up the tests they miss. It’s important for students to mark their calendars and keep track of these important dates.
“Do not make appointments before checking the AP testing schedule,” Guidance Director Ms. Abel said.
If something prevents a student from being present on their testing day, there are opportunities to make up the test at a later date. Exam make-up days are on May 21, 22, and 23. Students, who are aware in advance that they will not be present, must let their teachers know and make sure they can be present on the day the test can be made up.
The testing days are as follows
Monday May 5: Chemistry and Environmental science will be at 8am and Psychology at 12 pm
Tuesday May 6: Computer Science A and Spanish Language and Culture will be at 8 am and Art History at 12 pm
Wednesday May 7: Calculus AB and Calculus BC will be at 8 am and Chinese Language and Culture at 12 pm
Thursday May 8: English Literature and Composition will be at 8am. Japanese Language and Culture and Latin will be at 12 pm
Friday May 9: English Language and Composition will be at 8 am and Statistics and Studio Art at 12 pm
Monday May 12: Biology and Music Theory will be at 8 am. At 12 pm Physics B and Physics C: Mechanics will take place at 2 pm Physics C: Electronics and Magnetism
Tuesday May 13: United States Government and Politics will be at 8 am and French Language and Cultures as well as Human Geography will be at 12 pm
Wednesday May 14: German Language and Culture along with United States History will take place at 8 am European History will take place at 12 pm
Thursday May 15: Macroeconomics and World History will be at 8 am. Italian Language and Culture as well as Microeconomics will be at 12 pm
Friday May 16: Comparative Government and Politics as well as Spanish Literature and Culture will be at 8 am.
