At the end of week 10 , we move into the last week with byes. With the trade deadline looming over, make sure that you’re happy with your squad. At the end of week 10, I am now convinced that I manage and run my $100 fantasy football team better than the Jacksonville Jaguars do with their entire billion dollar organization. Here is the Best/Worst players of week 10.
Best
RB: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings: Peterson had 171 yards and a touchdown on a healthy 27 carries Sunday against Detroit. This performance helped to ensure Petersons spot as the number one running back (fantasy wise) so far this season.
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons: Gonzalez had a record setting Sunday. Coming into the game, he had 99 career touchdown receptions. He finished Sunday with 11 receptions for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns, breaking the century mark for touchdown receptions. In other news news, his two scores were futile as the Falcons went on to lose their first game of the season. Long live the ’72 Dolphins!
Worst
WR: Eric Decker, Denver Broncos: After 7 touchdowns in 5 games, Decker had a measly 2 catches for 15 yards on Sunday. It’s no surprise that when Peyton Manning struggles, Decker struggles in subsequence. It’s no secret that
RB: Matt Forte, Chicago Bears: It’s no secret that Forte, who was one of the best running backs in the NFL last season, a he signed a big juicy contract in the offseason. However, he has yet to prove worth that money this year, especially Sunday night. Forte was held to 39 yards on 16 attempts. Even though it was against a good Houston defense, Forte is considered an elite running back and nothing less than elite production is expected of him.
