Although the leaves don’t change color and the temperature scarcely drops in Florida, the fall season is a unique period of the year complete with pumpkin-flavored treats, a break from school and festivities. Thanksgiving– the traditional feast occurring annually on the third Thursday of November– is one such celebration and falls on November 26 this year.

Like mostly everything this year, fall festivities are relatively hindered due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, while respecting social distancing guidelines, people everywhere are making accommodations in order to celebrate the feast. CCHS students were asked, “How will you be celebrating Thanksgiving this year, in light of the current circumstances?” Here’s what they said:
