Man on the street: Students reflect on their last day of school before the pandemic

March 13, 2020: a normal school day for most. Then, out of the blue, the world was turned upside down. Many did not expect in-person school to get canceled early on March 13, let alone that it would become the last day of normalcy before the coronavirus pandemic. CCHS students were asked, “Do you remember what you were doing on that last normal day of school and would you have done anything differently if you knew what was to come?” Here’s what they said:

Students were caught off guard by the news that school would be shut down for the rest of the school year. These student responses show how ordinary of a day March 13 was and how no one expected life to get as derailed as it did.
