With the massive amounts of success that Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr, have received, the next site in the jumble of media has emerged: Vine. Vine is the latest social network that has blown up within the last month or so. Giving the user about 7 seconds to make a short video, Vine is unsurprisingly highly effective and addicting.

The user can do as many cuts as possible to create their own masterpiece or collage before sharing them with the world. Vine serves as a creative outlet for many of its users allowing them to pre-produce a short scripted films with a humorous punch-lines. The content of Vine varies on the person and for this reason, the  diversity on Vine is Highly entertaining. They can range from random shots of what the person is currently doing to shots of toys or food.

Though there have been other video apps, including Keek and Cinemagram, Vine stands apart with its simple and easy to use layout, while offering endless possibilities to its users. The design is very similar to that of instagram making it extremely user friendly. Though Vine seems to be pointless to some, the entertaining aspects of Vine essentially weigh out its Silliness. While the life span of many apps are short lived, Vine will keep luring users back because people will never run out of originality or the desire to share their creativity with their peers.
