Over Spring Break, a group of 60 Cooper City High School students and teachers went to Europe for the trip of a lifetime. Our first stop: London, England. London was exactly what I had anticipated and more. After a nine-hour plane ride, you’d think everyone would be exhausted, but in reality, we couldn’t wait to go out and explore what this historic city had to offer. Just before visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral, we walked throughout the city to learn what makes up the London we see today. Right before crossing the street to the Cathedral, I saw my first British taxi – small, yellow, and classic. Moving swiftly through the streets, I had to take a picture. Following the taxi with my camera, I managed to blur out the background and enhance the taxi with a technique known as motion photography. This picture reminds me of all the adventures we had on the first day of a trip that I will never forget.
