Cooper City came out strong once again, and scored early goals. Archbishop was able to gain possession and took the ball down towards the Cooper City defense. Rivas knocked the ball out of the players stick and freshman Rylee Horton picked up the ground ball. She ran the ball all the way down and scored her first goal of the season. “I think all the girls played great and we worked good as a team,” Horton said. Andreiu won the next two draws and passed the ball to Rivas both times, allowing her to score two more goals. After that, Lewis won the draw and took it to the goal herself, making the score 16-0.
