Over the years, clothing has become a way of self-expression for every person. The type of clothing someone wears depends entirely on the person wearing it. The same can be said in Cooper City, where students express themselves through their clothing. The latest trend to emerge at CCHS, has been bandanna headbands.

Since the first day of school, the halls of Cooper City High have been crammed with these funky hair accessories. The first sighting of this trend was in the pro home front advert of the Second World War. Now the trend has returned and with every turn you make, you can’t seem to avoid the colorful bandannas.

As long as you stay away from gang colors or sketchy patterns this accessory is a definite must have. Seriously, you can pair anything with this voguish look. For a night out, try wearing a low key (but super stylish) dress with combat boots and a leather jacket. This will give your outfit a pop of color, while also providing it with a fun flavor.

Not only do the students here at CCHS sport these looks, but celebrities like Rihanna and Cher Lloyd have been rocking this style as well. Now if you’re salivating over this look but don’t know where to find it, don’t fret! Just scout your local urban outfitters or vintage mall and you’ll be able to find one perfectly suited to your unique style.
